During photography studies, the students learn all kinds of photography, starting with classic forms such as portraiture, fashion, documentary, and journalistic photography. However, special emphasis is put on advertising photography, and its relationship with creative and illustrative photography.

Within the scope of Journalism and Social Communication studies, we realize the following specialty:

  • Photography in the new media

Classes take place in professional photographic studios, which allows for any arrangement of photo shoots, illuminated by daylight or artificial lighting.

Photographic studies at the Warsaw University of Humanities are intended for all those who treat photography as a future profession, a form of artistic expression, but also for passionate people wishing to take advantage of a wide educational offer.

The staff consists of outstanding photographers, who guarantee the highest level of teaching, amongst others Tomasz Bergmann, Igor Omulecki, Paweł Klein, Jacek Piotrowski, Szymon Szcześniak, Wojciech Wieteska.

Studies: Bachelor’s degree

– full-time studies (classes are held from Monday to Thursday),
– part-time studies (classes take place twice a month in three-day sessions, Fridays – from 5:30 PM, Saturdays and Sundays).
Duration of studies: 3 years, 6 semesters
Language of lecture: English
Acquired degree: Bachelor’s degree and may be followed by second cycle studies or postgraduate studies.
